Bush's pollution plan up for crucial vote, Dem Baucus wavering

The Orwellian-named 'Clear Skies' initiative is up for a crucial vote in the Environment and Public Works committee on Wednesday.

The vote was delayed two weeks ago when it looked like we had the votes to kill the bill. Apparently the swing votes the Repulicans wanted to sway were Chaffee, R-RI, and Baucus, D-MT.

I urge all, especially constituents of members of the committee, to make your voice heard against this gutting of the Clean Air Act.
