Clark/Richardson 08', what is the feedback on that ticket?

He's awful friendly with various energy and other corporations. A GREAT DLC-style candidate -- if that's what you want (and I don't).

There's no excuse for his behavior over the recount.

2. 2008 is a long way off...

Clark needs some Public Service or elected office to prove himself beyond the military....

And I need to see which side of the DLC Richardson really butters his bread with...

Maybe after we get past 06 I'll start to really examine the potential crop of candidates...in 01 I wasn't thinking Dean or Kerry....in 05 I'm not thinking anyone who'll probably end up on the ticket either.

I don't think he has a snowballs chance in hell to win the nomination. I know I am going to take grief for saying that, but I just don't think he appeals to mainstream dems. If he did, he would have won the nomination the first time around.

Now that Dean is head DLC, I was thinking of the Hispanic vote. I though that Richardson was pretty well liked. Judging from the posts here though, I guess I may be wrong.

08' is a long way off, but as of now, I believe Clark to be a breath of fresh air in the Political Establishment - as in being an outsider - but being familiar with much of the inside.

15. Richardson isn't my first choice

but I say give him a chance. I remember reading a story about how when he was a congressman, he personally went to Iraq and got Saddam to release two American contractors who he had imprisoned. I was impressed.
