Edwards taking calls on CSPAN right now.
I'm sure he'll get asked lots of the hard questions Dean supporters have been asking here.

8. Kerry+Edwards+Gep = 82% of vote. Dean = 18%.

And Dean did run on IWR and complained about Gep in the rose garden.

11. You think IWR is the most important issue, right?
But IA proved otherwise.

Now you think C, K or E can't beat Bush?

I bet the GE proves otherwise.

4. THAT was sort of interesting. They go to commercial on the radio show,
and we get to hear Edwards talk to Laura Kanoy off radio air but not off CSPAN air.

7. This is really interesting right now -- they've kept the cameras on
Edited on Thu Jan-22-04 02:46 PM by AP
after the radio show ended. Kanoy (Canoy?) and Edwards talked a little. Edwards said that the interview was good, and then he told her that he really like the debate Canoy's NPR affiliate cosponsored (with NOW?) in Manchester -- it was more than the 30 second sound bytes. Canoy said that they were really trying to do something different, and they both agreed it really worked. Then there was some conversation with some guy about a third guy they both knew from NC. Then some people making a documentary on the campaign asked a question on camera.

It ended with Canoy coming back asking for a picture with edwards -- "no belly shots," she said -- she's pregnant. The baby's due soon. She said that she probably wouldn't see Edwards for a while (baby).

Overall impression -- it was interesting who consisten Edwards is from being interviewed to being in casual conversation with people.

There was an odd moment -- after going back and forth with Canoy about the baby, CSPAN cuts away with a teaser for a story later today about abortion rights. Strange contrast, thanks to CSPAN. And now it's on to Dean. And what are they talking about? Eileen, the woman introducing him is talking about "Deanie babies" and home health care for new mothers. Weird.
