I thought Kerry did the best; Brit Hume is VERY ugly.
All the questions were about dividing the candidates, making the Party look bad, and trying to start shit. I was surprised with Jennings. Kerry looked the best, but his questions seemed soft. They really tried to hammer Edwards on a pointless gay marriage topic, but he stayed on his feet.

1. Kerry stood his ground
Thank goodness, the Kerry of the early campaign is gone. Do you remember when he was so talky and senatorial in his speaking and long winded that you couldn't figure out what he was saying?

Not anymore. He answered the questions firmly, especially the one about a soldier throwing away his medals, and about the gasoline pollutant. The guy sounds strong.

3. Brit Hume used to be a reasonable guy
I have a fairly good memory of him back about 15 years when he seemed downright reasonable. Now, he is mean-spirited to a degree that I rarely see even in the other FOX types. He gives me the creeps. I wonder what happened to him to make him so...well, you said it, ugly. Ugly at heart.

9. Her husband was a Congressman too. Bill Paxton? Something like that.
He quietly left politics just as his star was rising among Gingrich's lieutenants.

groan for bad joke

Yes, I can't remember her husband's name, but he was one of Gingrich's lieutenants who had to slink away

6. They went crazy on Edwards and Clark...
And they tried to instigate the candidates. I think all the candidates did okay tonight by keeping it positive.
