did you all see that while senator edwards was defending his vote against giving money to bush that he also defended kerry along with it? he wasn't asked about kerry specifically and didn't have to, but he included kerry as having done the right thing along with him. i thought that was nice. i hope senator edwards does well. if he wins i would be happy to support him as i would kerry. in fact, i'm leaning towards giving edwards some money to get that book if it's still available.

Everyone (even Lieberman) was being more decent to each other than before. They know that people actually like civilized debate, and promotion of ones ideas other than bashing.

Dean also did a great job of turning the debate into a Bush bas earlier on. But also started the negativity wars which was not needed and I think hurt him, Gep, and Lieber in the end.

3. Edwards was great, brought it back to the issues

Edwards' positive, class-based, populist message could very well win this election. I'd be happy.

Just in case this whole "Democratic nomination" thing doesn't pan out, the VP slot might be a nice consolation prize. But I think Johnny's got what it takes to go all the way (I like Kerry and Kucinich, too).
