Whatever his other policy positions, Sen. Lieberman's position that the Iraq war and removing Saddam from power were good things are contrary to common sense and woefully premature -- and detrimental to the core message that will help get Bush removed from office.
The Democratic party has already tried the "Bush Lite" approach in 2002, and failed. Lieberman's position undercuts the most damning case against Bush.
Clark's position that the Iraq war was a war of choice, not necessity, a choice made by the Bush Administration long before 9/11, and a choice made contrary to Jan 2001 security briefings underscoring the Al Qaeda terrorist threat, needs to be championed by the Party -- and every other person interested in removing these power mongers from office.
Hopefully, the Democratic electorate will realize that, as
Michael Moore said, we've been handed a gift. IMO, we need to get behind Clark; but short of that, the candidates need to coopt this particular message.

Karl K.
p.s. On a positive note... at least Zell Miller isn't running.
