I expect all of you to buy me many scotches
and drive me to the polls. I have been saying all along that if Lieberman got the nom that was the ONLY way I could vote Dem. "No, no, don't worry, eileen from OH, he's not going anywhere." said Everyone.

HA! As of tonight I am bloody-well convinced that Lieberman, with the post-debate love-in slurp-fest on Fox, is the "anointed one". HE'S the one they want. He'll lose, big-time, but he's the one they want, make no mistake about it.

Think about it. . .they went after Dean, now they're going after Kerry, Edwards, and Clark. Who's the only major candidate left standing?

Has there been any Lieberman stories floating, hmm? Yeah, he's at single digits now, but even when he seemed to be the Heir Apparent, there was nothing. Nada. No, because they are SAVING them for the GE. And the putz is going on Fox and bantering amiably with Sean "Spawn of The Devil" Hannity.

Be afraid. Be vewwy, vewwy afraid.

eileen from OH (shaping tinfoil into an attractive chapeau.)

1. If the Dems are stupid enough to make him the nominee
we deserve everything we get.

2. Since when do THEY get to pick OUR nominee?
Fuck Fox and the Republicans.
Lieberman WILL NOT be the nominee.

I'll pull a political Namath and guarantee it for ya kid.
Joe will be withdrawing after his thumping in NH

He'll endorse Kerry I bet.

3. Repugs will vote for him in any primaries they can
Knowing we don't like him. I know that I voted for McCain in the repug primary, but that was because if a Repug won, I wanted McCain. That could be their strategy too, after all Lieberman is almost Bush.

4. Just like McCain
It still won't be enough.
Lieberman doesn't have nearly the organization to make this happen.
Honestly, he is a non-factor in this race (unless an even bigger shocker than Iowa happens in NH)

5. To quote Bill the Cat, "pfffhhhhhtt"
I'm only about an hour away. I'll get you liquored up and drive you if you'd like, but we're still going to be voting for Dean in November (on my birthday!).

Oh, and I've got a nice green recycling bin for that tinfoil hat :)

6. No, Lieberman isn't going to happen
however much the whore media wants it. If he got the nomination, I would drop my registration as a Dem, and reregister as an independent. Then I would simply vote third party, probably green. At that point I know that my vote doesn't matter anyway. I won't throw it away on a party that has completely abandoned everything that it ever stood for or that I believe in. :grr:
