Poll question: Should we propose a Christmas truce to bashing other candidates?
After all this is the season of good will towards all :)

If this passes, maybe we can take Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off of "Dean is a loser", "Clark is a Republican" and post only positive things about our candidates.

Of course no way we can monitor this, but it might be worth a try.

1. Actually, I'm for no bashing of any Democratic candidate anytime
Calm rational discussion of the positives and negatives of a candidate is fine. I'm very very suspicious of those who would use rethuglican attack politics on any Democratic candidate.

3. It is a good idea, won't work
All it takes is one person to bash and the truce would be off. And since a 'bash' is in the eye of the beholder, a simple innocent statement on one person's part (Kerry had breakfast) could be interpretted as a bash by another person (How dare you say Kerry doesn't care about the plight of the hungry in this country!)

see which candidates can take the heat. if dean (my guy) can't take the heat from the likes of kerry and lieberman, how can he stand up to the bush machine? do any of the duers supporting other candidates want your candidate to just roll over and die because of poor polling?

the democrats can only win by being willing to fight hard. first they need to fight for the nomination, then they can focus on the pukes.

we got hammered in 2002 because we were the 'me too' party. the us of a does not need two republican parties.

edited for an embarassing number of typos.
