4. Yes, Clark needs to come in ahead of Edwards, and Dean if possible.

In NH, Clark needs to come in ahead of Edwards to prove he's the best Southern candidate. Him coming in 2nd (behind Kerry) would be huge, because he'd hit two birds (Dean and Edwards) with one stone and it would develop into a more one on one match in SC (Kerry vs. Clark).
