WANTED: "Democratic Candidates For Dummies" Book
Edited on Mon Dec-22-03 10:54 AM by arwalden
I still don't know enough about each candidate to make a decision yet. I need a "Democratic Candidates For Dummies" book that would help to explain each candidate to me.

I wish each candidate could be reliably ranked on a scale from 1-10 based on how similar they are to Clinton. I think I'd vote for the one that was most like Bill Clinton... faults and all. (That would be political-faults, not personal-faults.)

-- Allen

Edit: The Daily Democrat threads have been great. Thanks.

1. No book.
But some time spent on the candidate's web sites, perusing their platforms, ought to do the trick. Here's my candidate's site:

http://www.kucinich.us

Take your time; you'll find it a comprehensive explanation of every issue I can think of.

2. Been There... Thanks!!!
It all starts to run together. I'm reminded of when I was researching information on buying a digital camera. After looking at so many and reading so many specs, it all becomes one big blur of information overload.

I need a side-by-side comparison chart/table for each candidate.

Ever read the comparison charts in Consumer Reports magazine? Something like that!!

3. This might help
You'll have to devote a little time and effort, but after an hour here, you should have a good idea of the positions of each candidate.

5. Cool, I'll check it out.
A good reference for when someone says, "why candidate x instead of y."

8. That's intersting!
I thought there were nine democratic contenders. It looks like there are actually close to fifty. Go Winterbottom!
