DUers stop being afraid excessive punctuation free version
see threads where everyone is afraid of this afraid of that Dean s gonna lose Clark is a loose cannon

Fear is the reason we lost in 2002 fear of George Bush Democrats were afraid to campaign against him They supported a lot of what Bush wanted because of fear They ended up having no coherent message to bring to the voters and got trounced

Do not let fear of Bush lose 2004 for us Support whatever candidate you'll think will make the best president And then when the best candidate is chosen we must fight Bush behind that person without fear Bush is a paper tiger he is counting on our fear of him and his popularity for his victory. Let us deny him that

I promised myself after 9 11 to never live in fear If we can cast away fear I believe Bush will fall like a house of cards no matter who we nominate

1. So I've said for almost a year now.
Bush is vulnerable. We can take him.

Dean does not appeal to my constituency. There is no substitute for informed commentary.

5. My candidate knows exactly what he believes.
He is thorough and consistent.

And Dean does not appeal to many of us on the left. And we do not appreciate being called "extreme leftist nuts." As a matter of fact, we think it is inflammatory rhetoric like that that has moved politics so far to the right in the U.S. that what used to be moderate is now considered "extreme left." Even here on DU, which used to be a pretty progressive place.

Given the same media coverage Dean has received, my candidate would not be "chasing" him. We'll see how the early states vote. That chase may be more of a race.

I've been trying to articulate this for some time. Thank you, LWolf.

A "Republican" when you've been a Democrat for 38 years. B-)

4. I also hate to see threads
about being "scared" and "afraid". Some is hyperbole, but it can be psychologically dangerous.

Fear not, DU! We are going to bring the mothers DOWN no matter what it takes.
