2. It's one of his famous town meetings where he speaks then opens for ?'s
He's great. he's really captured some of the fire and found the passion of his message. I think he's great. He's wonderful when answering questions of undecided voters.

3. Fantastic !!
Kerry's getting stronger and stronger everytime i see him ... i'm very close to an endorsement ...

Here's a little of what he said (please excuse a feeble memory):

1. when i'm inaugurated, we're going to scour that 14,000 page tax code ... companies are free to export jobs if they want to ... but we're going to remove every tax break that's currently being given to these Benedict Arnolds ...
2. i'm going to sign an Executive Order that says that no government employee can work as a lobbyist for 5 years after he leaves government service ...
3. we're going to make it a law that any meeting between a lobbyist and a government employee must be fully disclosed ...

and finally, and i thought he made this last point very powerfully, he talked about terrorism ... he said that fighting terrorism, while partly a military effort, is largely a police and intelligence gathering operation ... and it requires the full cooperation of countries all over the world ... he said when he assumes office, one of his first actions will be to announce to the community of nations that it's a new day in America and America will rejoin the community of nations ...

this last point really links bush's failures in fighting terrorism to the arrogance bush has shown that alienated friends and allies all over the world ...

regardless of what candidate you're supporting, Democrats should not find fault with anything Kerry said in this speech ... if other candidates have said the same or similar things, i applaud them ...

18. Maybe no invasion at all
Kerry's said repeatedly it was all about using the U.N., international diplomacy, and our armed forces appropriately.

9. .
Asked to explain why his plans (concerning education I think) are better than Dean's.
He chose instead to explain his plan instead of talking negative about Dean or making comparisons.

He's actually doing very good.

13. he doesn't need to attack anyone anymore
And attacking Kerry is very hard.

Kerry, Edwards, and oddly enough, Lieberman, are gonna shine in an environment where they don't criticize other campaigns.

14. "he doesn't need to attack anyone anymore" ...this is pathetic
This strikes at the very character of a man that may 1 day lead this great country. If he doesn't have the inner strength to carry himself without smearing the living hell out of someone he finds to be threating to his political future, how in the hell could he lead us?

11. Kerry just said something pretty cool
That he's got a lot of Clinton's economic people on his team. That's smart. If there's any brains you should pick from Clinton's administration, its the economic people.

15. Wow!! Did you hear what that woman just asked?
Kerry is so thoughful and approachable. He doesn't fall easily into slogans and soundbites which really serves him well in these settings. Incredibly well. I hope all of America gets to see this.

22. I agree, that town meeting was particularly good
I've never seen something quite like it. Even Clinton, who always tried to empathize. Kerry talks without talking down and is heady and inspiring at the same time.

26. All right
There is this man who was in the ROTC when John Kerry and his band of veterans were protesting the war. He asked John to come and speak at his college. John did and the ROTC guy got his scholarship threatened. The man fought it and kept his scholarship. Says John taught him about fairness by showing him the other side of the war. The man continued in the military but he kept the visit by John in mind.
