New Zogby Poll

Fox had put up numbers earlier today when John Zogby was on Hann/Colmes:

Kerry 30
Dean 22
Clark 14
Edwars 7
Nonliberalman 7

Clark has certainly taken a hit. Zogby also said he thinks Dean may have upward movement starting tommorow. Should be interesting.



Edit Note: did this from memory - actually better news for Dean than I recalled from Fox earlier this evening.

Dean's daily numbers bottomed really low on Wednesday and now are actually picking up sharply. Because of the averaging system, this won't be seen until Sunday.

Zogby said that they are detecting upward movement for Dean today, the tracking numbers he had are not including today--but from Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday. Today (Friday's) numbers will be included in tracking announced tomorrow. Zogby knows how the preliminary tracking is going so that is how he is able to say that they are detecting an upturn for Dean.

I have access to Fox News - which in turn has access to Zogby - who inturn says he expects a rise for Dean tommorow and that he thinks the Bleeding has stopped.

So Dean has actually been dropping 1 to 2 points a day, while Kerry has been going up 2 to 3 points a day.

Clark and Edwards took a hit of 1 point Dean took a hit of 2 points and Kerry went up 3. Their are two polls that still have Clark in second and one said Clark was the only one with upward movement. Who the hell knows?

the numbers were inaccurate as originally posted, so why believe the reports of 'what Zogby said'?

Here's what he had to say on his web page:

Pollster John Zogby: Kerry had another double-digit lead today. Dean continues to poll in the low 20's.

" Kerry has a substantial lead among Democrats, while the race is tighter among Independents. Kerry has narrowed the gap among younger voters, and his lead increases with each age cohort. Voters over 65 years of age are giving Kerry a 2 to 1 lead.
