Fox: GOP "confident of muscling Bolton's nomination through the Senate"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,157724,00.html

WASHINGTON — Republicans face another showdown vote but seem confident of muscling John R. Bolton's (search) nomination to be U.N. ambassador through the Senate, giving the post to the man President Bush (search) says will reform the world organization.

Democrats said they might try delaying Thursday's planned vote on Bolton until next month unless they get internal State Department (search) documents and classified intelligence information they have been denied for weeks.

Yet they said they did not plan to mount a filibuster, or procedural delays, to indefinitely block the vote, and some of their leading voices seemed to acknowledge that time was running out. "I would seriously hope that the president — and I really don't have much hope — but I wish the president had taken another look at this and found us someone" else, Sen. Joseph Biden (search) D-Del. said.

"Where does legitimate due diligence turn into partisanship?" asked Sen. Richard Lugar R-Ind. chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. "Where does the desire for the truth turn into a competition over who wins and who loses?"

Maybe when your partisan White House agrees to provide the Senate with the information it DESERVES to have in order to make an informed decision about Bolton?

5. He looks like a freakin' cartoon character!
A cartoon character that would speak with a german accent. Don't ask me why, but that is how I picture him.

Hey -- nice moustache there, pal.

Oh yeah...he is going to do wonders for our country at the UN. We are going to be more of a laughing stock than we already are.
