I was just looking at the charts at icasualties and found that, as of today, we have lost 1665 men and women out of a total "coalition" loss figure of 1850.
It so happens that these numbers show something Kerry was excoriated for saying during the electoral campaign -- that we've sustained 90% of losses in Iraq. Today's number, 1665, is exactly 90% of 1850. We reached the number sustained by all other countries (185) on June 10, 2003, and passed it on June 12, 2003.
I believe Kerry was also roundly criticized for saying Bush would go after Social Security after the election.
I'm sure there are many more instances of this, as well as of Bush predicting things that never came to pass.
Feel free to post some of them here, if you like.
