The Candidates Speak on the Environment

For those interested just finished another Candidate review on the Environment, it's posted at the website. ( http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com Right along the left side there)

Doing the environment was tougher than expected because I don't know as much about the issues. It is also an issue where all of the candidates (with the possible exception of Wesley Clark) have a record. My Modus Operandi is to present what the candidates have said about the issue, which works pretty well in most cases. In most cases you approach an issue differently as the President than you do as a Senator, Representative, Govorner, General or Ambassador. But it's harder to make that case with the environment.

At any rate, while I think it is useful to compare thier statements on the environment, it's also a good idea to look at their record on the environment, which I don't provide.
