Instead of saying the US takes ALL charges of prisoner abuse seriously and
we will invetigate the allegations made by Amnesty International and released prisoners and the International Red Cross, all that Bush says is that the charges are absurd and Rummy defends whatever took place.
To me, this means that instead of spreading "freedom and democracy" around the world, the Bush regime is setting civilization back decades and even centuries. How can we claim any moral superiority in any international matters. And will the press call the Bush regime into account for its prisoner abuse positions that are endangering not just our military but other American citizens around the world.

The media is useless in this country. But then, they would be reporting to a useless public anyway. so what's the diff?
