Are the Repugs worried Deep Throat still has more beans to spill?
Their reaction to the outing of Deep is soooo strange. This story is 30 years old and yet this is the first time I've heard any of them trash him. I mean, if you think his actions were "treasonist" or "criminal", wouldn't you have said so long ago. WHO he was, was kind of irrelevant.

I think they're freaking out because they always thought he wouldn't be revealed until he was dead and buried along will any other insider info he may have had.

They all got their talking points on this one. They are clearly trying to smear and discredit him. A little nervous perhaps? MOO-HAHA!

Just a thought.
:-)

2. We need a 'Deep Throat'
within this rotten administration! Sooner or later, the beans will spill. I think Downing St. Memo is the first step...

As far as Watergate, that's still got their pantaloons bunched. You know the ridiculous 'impeachment' of President Clinton was just childish revenge for Nixon WHO DESERVED IMPEACHMENT. Repugs are big whiney babies that can't accept responsibility for anything they do. How stoopit to still be pissed because of Watergate.

If anything? Nixon doesn't look bad at all compared to W!!!

modern day "Deep Throat" emerging. They want to be prepared so they're all screaming the same talking points. If someone does emerge, the masses will have already been "trained" to think he's a traitor, not a hero. They will be so outraged by the messenger that they will ignore the message. :eyes:

4. Mark Felt is suffering from dementia and has no recollection of Watergate
...events any longer, only that he knows he was a part of the leaks that became known as the notorious Deep Throat. That's it! Any republicans that fear Mark Felt are totally paranoid

5. Wouldn't it be so cool for Deep Throat and John Dean to pen an expose?
The repugs could be afraid of what DP's got on bush I and ronnie.

10. Keith Olbermann (who, when he's not writing and hosting Countdown, is a
MAJOR baseball card fanatic).

13. Awesome, thanks. I am a huge Olbermann fan. I have been
since his days with ESPN and I admire his work on MSNBC.

7. I doubt it. I just think that the destruction of opponents '
reputations has become their first response to anyone not on their team 100%. Look at what has happened to Voinivitch (sp?).Wait and see what they do to Dewine and Graham. The real question is when/if traditional Republicans ever get fed up with these political thugs who have hijacked their party.
A Republican friend of mine confides that the only reason the Bushies will not use a piece of dirt, true or not, is if they haven't thought of it yet.

9. Today, the Savage Weiner said that Felt, ACLU and AI be arrested
and brought up on sedition charges. He said that Deep throat is a "rat".
He spouted KKKarl talking points for hours on his radio talk show.
He and the repubs are depending on bending the minds and thoughts of young people who have no recollection of Watergate and no knowledge of history.
