The Engraved Invitation Has Arrived

What are they waiting for? An engraved invitation? Apparently, the corporate media is waiting for far, far more than that. Within the last few weeks, the engraved invitation to nail this administration has arrived gift wrapped and pre-written for them.

Although I boycott the corporate media, I know from the posts here at DU that not only is the engraved invitation being ignored, certain "journalists" are so frightened that they deny knowing anything about it at all. They are in full fledged rally around the chimp mode, the likes of which I haven't seen since 9-11.

I don't know what more the few remaining journalists could want or need before running with this story. It is true, powerful, and important, and has a simple, easy to follow story line. And it reveals this administration for what it is.

I'm in exactly the same situation and feel the same way. I, too, boycott the mainstream media, watching them only when I have no choice (at work, at the blood bank in donor room) but have noticed that they barely have touched this one.

4. There aren't any more journalists

Anyone who would report what the reality is would be canned by the owners of the media.

They are not in the business of revealing the truth. They are in the business of covering up the junta's mistakes, keeping the extreme RW in power and making fun of anyone (particularly democrats) who get in the way of the blovits in power.

I don't know whay anyone is waiting for them to out their masters? It won't happen
