2. Interesting.
He did a good job explaining that the "forged" ANG document had never actually been determined to be false. I also liked his definition of what the news is -- anything that somebody in power doesn't want you to know.

7. Very true about that memo
Heh. Of course the rightwingers always say "it wasn't true and it was forged" but who proved it? I must've missed that episode. Rather is great.

3. He definately got across his feelings that the
memo/story in regards to Bush's service (or lack thereof)was an accurate representation of the truth!

5. this was good - larry tried to twist things but dan is good
Dan said we have not seen the end of the story - larry tried twice to get him to say that he still thought it was true - he praise cbs instead - he continually praise woodward and bernstein and made a point of how that administration thought it was above the constitution and the law and that what Mark Felt did was the right thing -

if people in the news organization could not hear how much alike that is to the current * and buddies - the message was there

And his comments that he believes CBS can be the best and couragous in the future was also a call to go back to that type of reporting - now all we need is those FBI guys that cheney made how many trips to their offices to get them to change their story about wmd - now if they would come forward - and guide without giving away like mark felt did

Dan was great !!!! His messages were there if anyone in media and fbi was listening
