Contest should still be lively, no matter what happens in NH
Edited on Sat Jan-24-04 05:33 PM by quinnox
I saw the gentility among the candidates in the debate, and I was a little surprised. I thought there might be some elbows thrown but it wasn't to be, even with several openings given by the questioners.

I'm a little worried that the big bosses have told the candidates that if Kerry wins NH, then it's time to close ranks. With the idea of putting up a strong nominee quickly and relatively undamaged.

But I hope this isn't the case, because it will help the nominee to go through a real fight. I am a strong believer in survival of the fittest in terms of a political competition to determine who is the best man to lead the Dems.

1. I hope it stays pretty even going into the convention.
Keep the SCLM and the RNC guessing. Keep the media focus and message on the Bush mess. Keep the voter interest on our candidates and our pro-America ideas.

Having multiple candidates is good thing!
