i'm shocked !!! - "Intelligence Sees Terrorists in Iran"
who'd a-thunk it ??? the US and their "allies" (could it be Blair?) have evidence (that they won't release) that the Iranian government is "harboring" Al Qaeda terrorists and funding Hezbollah ...

what's especially absurd about this shocking revelation is that they've known about this since the late-1990's ... if the US government knew about Iran's alleged ties to Hezbollah and it knew that terrorists responsible for the murder of 19 Americans at the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia were being "harbored" in Iran, why did we invade Iraq instead of Iran????? and frankly, why should anyone give any credibility whatsoever to these allegations???

notice, btw, that Syria receives honorable mention as well ... all this progaganda is just laying the groundwork for PNAC's next adventure ...

U.S. and foreign intelligence agencies also have evidence stretching back to the late 1990s that indicates Ahmad Ibrahim al-Mughassil remains hiding in Iran. He is wanted as one of the masterminds of the Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 Americans.

Al-Mughassil, who also goes by the alias Abu Omran, has been charged as a fugitive by the United States with conspiracy to commit murder in the attacks and has a $5 million bounty on his head.

U.S. authorities have long alleged the 1996 bombing was carried out by a Saudi wing of the militant group Hezbollah, which receives support from Iran and Syria.

Intelligence agencies gathered evidence, including a specific phone number, as early as 1997 indicating al-Mughassil was living in Iran, and have other information indicating his whereabouts.

1. yes... and ttheir existance prooves to be an "ongoing problem" for *
"Their existence in the Islamic republic poses an ongoing problem to top Bush administration officials, who have warned Middle Eastern countries against providing shelter or other aid to terrorists."

*shaking head* -- they need an excuse to get in there... don't they? (but it would seem that they had it after 9/11 at least)

This was also posted a http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8097493/

when will they realize that there isn't any way to "rid" the world of terrorism? are we going to invade every country that "harbors" a terrorist?

who's up for building an earthship community in some undisclosed place totally off the grid??? http://www.earthship.org/ (we stayed in one in New Mexico -- and toured their information area)
