Does DSM prove * bought the after invasion flower shower predictions?

"There was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath after military action."

Only someone who bought into the neoconartist's Pollyanna post invasion flower shower predictions would not have been in very serious discussions - planning for the aftermath - by the summer of 2002. Knowing full well they were going to invade, why they'd have to be inept not be planning by then. :)

I have tried to think of a time, anytime, when Team Thug appeared to have a grasp on what they were doing in post invasion Iraq and I think I found one.

Does anyone know what happened to this lady? According to the administration, she was the "logical next step" in the process of stabilizing Iraq back in October of 2003.

Let's all email CNN and ask them to do one of those "Where Are They Now" segments on this lady. I'd love to know how she is doing now. Seems like we should be seeing some results from her efforts by now. Especially since she was the "logical next step".....

WASHINGTON - President Bush is giving his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, the authority to manage postwar Iraq and the rebuilding of Afghanistan.

While some saw it as a sign of frustration with the handling of postwar efforts, Bush and other officials said the move is a logical next step and reflected no dissatisfaction with progress.

"We want to cut through the red tape and make sure that we're getting the assistance there quickly so that they can carry out their priorities," Bush spokesman Scott McClellan said. "It's a new phase, a different phase we're entering."

Rice will head the Iraq Stabilization Group, which will have coordinating committees on counterterrorism, economic development, political affairs and media messages. Each committee will be headed by a Rice deputy and include representatives of the State, Defense and Treasury departments and the CIA.

CNN could ask him. From the USA Today link, the child king is very involved in all this...I wonder why he hasn't had her on TV with him talking about all her activities to stabilize Iraq? Why isn't the * administration getting any credit for her work? That damb liberal media will be the death of us.

The new structure will give Bush's top White House aides a stronger voice in decisions and will make the president more directly accountable. Because of their close relationship, many people will assume Bush signed off on Rice's decisions.

2. two takes on "showers of flowers"
1. "Does DSM prove * bought the after invasion flower shower predictions?" -- if you think bush* isn't really in charge and is gullible enough to just drink his kool-aid and read scripts -- then yes he bought the showers of flowers crap

2. If you think bush* does have some control over his own decision making - then the showers of flowers are the poppies of propaganda that was freely spread throughout the media like so much manure

I had an image in my head from Wizard of Oz movie where the Witch is casting that spell and mumbling "poppies, poppies"

I just switched the witch for bush and pictured him mumbling "propaganda propaganda...."

3. I guess
she's putting the same amount of effort into rebuilding Iraq as she did into stopping terrorism before 9/11.

4. The whole war is just a "means to an end" for him..
He is not interested in "winning" it, or who dies, or how many die..or how long it lasts..
It is a real money maker. That's his interest and his only concern.
