Just wondering if this ties in with Coingate. The Democratic Headquarters
in Lucas County (Noe's county) was broken into before the election, 3 computers stolen. Also, I think I read that Noe's wife was Elections Supervisor in that county for 2004 election.

This gets more and more interesting.

Sounds suspiciously like another 'Watergate' like break-in. Thought so at the time. Any thoughts?

lean back in your easy chair, the Bunny Planet's waiting there,,,

1. very interesting
since we know that GOP's have gone to jail over phone jamming, could this have been an attempt to keep the Dems from getting out the vote
but confiscating their call lists?

2. According to a DU poster who lives in Toledo the
breakin was teenagers, not anything else -- his/her comment

here http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=371800#373238

they don't mention it in the reports, and I think if it were tied together, the Blade would speak to it. But it also looks like it's still not "solved."

4. Yeah, teenagers always like to steal computers with highly sensitive
information about Democratic strategy during Presidential elections.

There was nothing else taken. Also, they could have been hired to do it.

3. is this the same article? the link above didn't work for
me

http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041013/NEWS03/410130378

However, besides what I posted above, this does seem odd -- if it were teenagers, I'd think they'd take what they could.

<snip>
Two other computers, holding less sensitive information, were untouched, as were a petty cash box that usually holds $80 to $100, televisions, portable radios, and other electronics. Moreover, other offices inside the building, 1817 Madison Ave., were not entered. Files, papers, and pamphlets remained in neat piles, and campaign signs leaned, apparently undisturbed, against a wall.

<snip>

I'm looking now for follow up reports.
