I am a Crackpot Democrat!

Saw this quote in a Newsmax article referenced elsewhere on DU.

"'Meet the Press' host Tim Russert became the first network newsman on Sunday to cover a British memo touted by crackpot Democrats as smoking-gun evidence that President Bush committed impeachable crimes."

If realizing that the Downing Street Minutes is smoking-gun evidence of impeachable crimes makes one a "Crackpot Democrat," then that's what I am.

If a "Crackpot Democrat" is the opposing force to the likes of Russert, Mehlman, Michelle Malkin (it's one of her favorite terms, Google it), or any other right-wingnut - then I AM a Crackpot Democrat.

If wanting the truth about media culpability in every failed, evil, self-serving Republican policy (plot), then you might be a "Crackpot Democrat" too.

10. here's one

my Mom used to make burger beans.
2 cans of pinto beans
1 lb. of cooked ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 greed or red pepper (optional)
1/2 pound sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 bottle of bbq sause (she used just a basic one 'cause they didn't have all the different flavored ones back then).

put everything in the crockpot and cook on low until heated through. I think it was usually about 3 or 4 hours. This was always a hit a potlucks and such.

I haven't tried this is ground turkey yet, but that may be good.
