I LOVE what Dean is saying. I hope he never backs down and keeps
at it. We need to hit long and hard and often at the foibles, lies and lawlessness of the repukes and stop being so darn respectful and nice about our differences. This gentlemanly/ladylike behavior is killing us.

3. He's "talkin' the talk AND walkin' the walk." GO HOWARD!

Remember the electrifyingn line to the CA Democrats, pulled them to their feet cheering wildly:

"I'm Howard Dean from the Democratic wingn of the Democratic Party."

THE MAN IS A POLITICAL GOD, IMHO.

Thank you Howard Dean. Keep on doing your job. You tell them the truth and they just think it's Hell.

Give 'em Hell Howard, and while your at it.

NEW LEADERS FOR A NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

so fricking fracking tired of the mealymouthed good old boy attitude that is rampant among our own people. They are suppose to represent the PEOPLE, not one another and big business, for god's sake!!!

15. You and I are soul-persons!!!
The new ABC/WaPost poll shows * in the toilet, negatives over 50% in both performance AND personal ratings. The personal rating is always above the performance (except w/Clinton when he got caught diddling around). The other nice thing in the poll was the public says the Democrats, who they think will do better, are not focusing on the right things...uh, yeah like kicking Republican butt.

Laissez Les bon temps roulez!

Give 'em Hell Howard, you are the leader of the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party.

17. I think that the average person wants to be able to believe and respect
their leaders. Unhappily and unfortunately that is what they thought they got in bush. Show them the truth and give them a cause that is honorable and good and you will have them in an instance. This is what Dean can and, if given the means and the room, will do.

7. The" with us or against us" idea is not an idea of the Democratic party,
not an idea of mine and I completely reject it. What I want is a voice, a chance to be heard, even if I am not a white, rich, man.

8. I wasn't too familiar with Dean
until he did his little scream thing and the MSM jumped all over it. It didn't bother me in the least. Passion is something this party needs. Now more than ever. I liked him then, but I knew they'd crucify him.

The fact that he knows how to throw the zingers and get people talking means people are starting to pay attention--that the Dems aren't just going to roll over and let the Reapers have their way with this country.

Go Dean!

10. I admire a person who cares and is passionate about it. I wish we had an
actual human at the realm right now who could see anything and think about anything but his own petty little small minded view of the world. GOD, I hate that evil idiot bush.

13. At first, his scream showed me a personality
Of course, I'm a hooter and a hollerer at my kids' and husband's games. To me, that's as American as you can get. I loved Dean's passion and truth before the scream, and his great personality shown after the scream. But the scream was a dirty trick from the media, audio tapes dissected to make him appear irrational. That's what they're doing again, dissecting his words and even changing them as the days go on. The media trapped our spineless Democratic leaders and I seriously doubt they meant harm to Dean. They just play all angles in politics to try to stay in the game like they always do.

This battle is not Dean's, it's the people who see our democracy being challenged with the lies and greed against the GOP, through their puppet media people. We're close to losing it, but we have truth on our side. Dean speaks the truth and since they can't seriously debate truth, they do what they know best. Spin, deceive and deface the truth. If they win, we lose more than Dean. This is a fight that we're all in together.

Because this isn't about loving Dean, it's about having enough ammo to beat the repugs.

Maybe there's a way to do both. Again, SHOW ME THE MONEY and I will drink his bathwater. Gladly.

Peace.

11. Heard on AAR that he had collected more money in this first 100 days
than any other head of the party and the money is coming from the small donor. You might want to goggle that and see if it is correct but I did hear it today.

69. DNC has raised MORE MONEY THIS QUARTER
than any first non-election year quarter on the books.

A quick look at actual FEC reports

http://images.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?C00010603

shows that Dean has raised more money in an off year than any DNC Chair in history.

First Quarter of 2005 - $16.7 million

Q1/2004 - $28.7 million (presidential election year)

Q1/2003 - $8.7 million

Q1/2002 - $11.8

And Dean is on pace to break the midyear fundraising of $23.7 in the first six months of 2001. "

Shamelessly cribbed. Thanks for the info, poster who must not be named.

18. Seriously, I would love it if this is true, but I read just the opposite
Check out this article from Business Week, June 6, 2005.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but it's certainly worth reading.

http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/05_23/c3936057_mz013.htm

Here's an excerpt:

According to the Federal Election Commission, the DNC raised $14.1 million in the first quarter of 2005, vs. the Republican National Committee's $32.3 million. Dean drew about 20,000 new donors, while his rivals picked up 68,200. The bottom line: Republicans have $26.2 million in the bank vs. $7.2 million for the Dems.

21. Give 'em Hell, Howard
I have been hesitant about giving money to the Democratic party because no one was standing up and tossing the sh** that Democrats take from Republicans back to them. The more Dean, Kennedy, Conyers and Boxer tell those smear freaks, the liars and cheaters, the arrogant stink bombs what they are, the more checks I'll write.
It's way past time that they get their faces rubbed in their own feces.

I'm sick to death of their Enron style smiles while they lie through their teeth and yank the citizens around. Call them on it. After they know we intend to tell the world what they are we can talk about the issues.

I wrote to NBC, Andrea Mitchell last night, telling her what I thought of their pathetic attempt to smear Howard Dean for telling the truth. Then I noted their sponsors so that I'll be sure to never buy anything they sell, and clicked the off button. NBC is Old News to me.

24. You know I understand that old time, good manners way of doing things.
That is how I was raised. You never confronted anyone and always tried to listen and respect the other person's point of view. Well, that is a lovely way to live and it worked for the nice white folks I was brought up with but now it just gets one chopped into little pieces. rove and bush took advantage of this gentility to take over my state and my country. I am tired of this nicey-nicey stuff and will be a sweet little old southern lady no longer. Now I fight.

27. I'm with you there
I grew up Republican, but quickly changed parties in 2000 when I tried to determine for myself what the issues were and what the actual positions of the parties were. I looked for the good debates on the issues. What I found was an eye opener. The Republicans raised a lot of fast talking B.S. and the Democrats were never given more than a few words in, even though they sounded perfectly reasonable, but they were shot down as nutty or far left. The Republicans were nasty, rude and mean and a party I never wanted to be associated with.
