1. You forgot the "Hell gets an NHL hockey franchise" option.
I've heard The Devil's nephew plays for the Buffalo Sabres....

3. Voted 'Other' in the poll. Senator Clinton is in a strong position these

days. Forced to choose by order of favorite potential nominees, I admit that she is not my first choice. But I recognize that she is already a player in the race for the nomination, and that while McCain has star status on his side, Senator Clinton is no slouch on ours.

The problem with her on the ticket, IMO, is that she could not take any southern states away from the GOP. A Hillary Clinton-Wes Clark or Clinton-Lincoln ticket MIGHT carry Arkansas, but it would still be close, I think. Apart from that chance, it looks to me as if all other southern states stay red.

There's plenty of time between now and then, so she could make a more progressive case later for all I know. But unless we get a couple of southern states, it will be another uphill climb for the Democratic ticket.

How does she get past Iowa's caucuses if Vilsack draws support, or if Evan Bayh and John Edwards have broad appeal (which they do), or if Feingold's minions surprise everyone (as I think may happen)? Not to mention Senator Kerry, who is not unknown in the state. There's a distinct chance that Hillary Clinton will finish SIXTH in Iowa, and maybe even SEVENTH if General Clark is added.

4. Don't underestimate Hillary Clinton
She is an experienced political fighter. If there is anyone who can withstand and respond to the hell that the Republicans can unleash, it's her.

5. This cracks me up
You know why you're running this poll? Because Hillary has name recognition. That's not necessarily a bad thing in politics.

Many here, including myself have been critical of Bill Clinton's policies during his presidency. But you know what, if the choice is Bill Clinton or ANY Republican, Bill will get my vote every time. The same can be said for Hillary.
