I think you hit upon an important distinction, too. I support Dean as he is the chair of the party I belong to now. But I'm not here to make an imperfect human look perfect. That's not support at all; that's like co-dependency or some junk.

People can shout down all of DU with an authoritarian approach to Dean, but there's tons of people out there that don't even know about DU who thus cannot be shouted down. I'm for fixing things up so we can reach them, because you can't get their threads locked.
