Sign the DSM petition from Democracy for America
Sorry if this is a dupe, Mods. Delete if you've had enough on this.

It's a copy of the memo and the petition is to get the memo and all it's relevant information out to the people. Scroll down a little and on the left, you can click on to sign the petition. Here's the website:

http://www.democracyforamerica.com/memo.php

There's also a section to put your 2 pennies in.

2. Thx Tux
I told them "the American people have the inescapable evidence that the Bush administration has been lying to this country since he took office. This memo needs to be addressed by the administration, immediately and under oath."

Let him try to duck out of this one like he did the 9/11 commission. Frucking creep.

3. I forwarded it to all of my Republican friends as well as Dems.
Time to wake up the sleeping masses. If you think that's nuts, consider this: According to an Editor & Publisher article, after a Hearst newspaper published a scathing editorial on the Downing Street memo, a poll showed 92% of readers believed we should get out of Iraq now.

7. No wingnuts, but a few long-time conservative church-goers.
So far no flaming messages back, so I guess I didn't offend too many people. A couple of them have already "crossed over" somewhat and admitted regretting their votes for Schwarzenegger, so there's hope.

6. Not to be pedantic
But what is the petition for?

The petition at http://www.johnconyers.com is to put your name on a petition that will be handed to the White House. The goal is 250,000 people (more than the viewership of all the cable talking-head networks combined).

I understand handing out the memo to people. But I couldn't find what the goal is for the petition.
