Ok, I know I shouldn't open mail in my filtered folder -- I briefly was watching/receiving The Traditional Values Commission (Rev. Lou Sheldon) prior to the election, but blacklisted it pretty quickly....
This is their "Call to Conservatives" -- seems to me they should be more worried about the hate they harbor in their heart against people who are different than them, than in other people's sexual orientation, etc..

Dear Friends:
We are fighting the battle for traditional values at many levels and in many ways—at the local, state, and federal levels!
And your support of our efforts will enable us to continue battling for biblical morality and decency in our nation.
If you’re not already doing so, please become an active contributor to our efforts by pledging a monthly gift. You can do more than read our materials and write letters. Your financial help will be used wisely to wage war against the enemies of traditional values.
Please select which battles you wish to support.

TVC Instrumental in Stopping Homosexual Marriage in California:TVC can take credit for helping to defeat Assembly Bill 19, a bill that would have legalized marriages between any “two persons” regardless of their sex. This bill would have allowed blatant homosexual marriages despite state law defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman only. TVC conducted local pastor’s meetings, rallies in key districts and mailed into targeted areas in an effort to stop AB 19. On June 2, 2005 AB 19 fell 4 votes short of passing.
Thanks to TVC Parents are Better Informed in California:Thanks to a bill TVC sponsored, starting January 2005 schools in California must now inform parents in writing before any outside organization, consultant or guest speaker comes into the classroom to talk with students about HIV/AIDS education and other sexually related issues. Parents are given the option of removing their children from questionable teachings.
TVC’s Executive Director Mrs. Andrea Lafferty appeared on Neil Cavuto’s “Your World” on Fox News in early June to protest the airing of condom ads on NBC and the WB network in prime time—and we posted a CDC report on our web site that exposes the high rate of failure of condoms.
TVC is taking a leadership role in exposing and opposing the passage of a federal hate crimes bill that will include legal protection for cross-dressers, drag queens, transsexuals, and she/males (individuals with both male and female body parts) in businesses.
TVC recently helped expose the distribution of a pornographic book on homosexual sex to teenagers at a Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) conference at a Massachusetts high school. The “Little Black Book” described various bizarre sex acts and included obscene photos.
The Traditional Values Coalition is working in cooperation with Life Dynamics, Inc., to support the prosecution of abortion clinic providers who are hiding cases of statutory rape of underage girls who come to these clinics for abortions. TVC and Life Dynamics have posted audiotapes of abortion counselors telling girls that they are willing to break state laws and not report the rapist to authorities!
Traditional Values Coalition has signed on as a member of the National Coalition to End Judicial Filibusters to urge the U.S. Senate to end the filibustering of President Bush’s judicial nominees.
We have been providing additional assistance to pro-family activists in Massachusetts who are working to pass a state constitutional amendment to ban homosexual marriage.
TVC has also been involved in fighting against passage of a homosexual civil unions bill in Maryland.
TVC has signed a letter of support for Senate confirmation of John Bolton to become the next U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton has been an outspoken critic of the U.N.’s policies and tactics and will be an excellent representative of the United States in this organization.
Other items we have been involved with recently..
In Kansas, a courageous Attorney General named Phill Kline is investigating whether or not abortion clinics are covering up the statutory rape of underage girls. TVC has been involved in this battle for several years now with Mark Crutcher, head of Life Dynamics, Inc.
In legislatures all over the U.S. pro-family legislators are working to amendment their state constitutions to define marriage as a one-man, one-woman union. TVC has been working closely with African-American pastors on marriage summits throughout this nation to educate church members on the dangers of the homosexual agenda to the traditional family.
In Washington, DC, TVC is fighting for passage of legislation that will free pastors from restrictions placed upon their free speech by Senator Lyndon Johnson in 1954.
TVC took a leadership role in exposing the homosexual agenda in the PBS-produced cartoon for kids called “Postcards from Buster.” One episode featured a female homosexual couple in Vermont!
TVC exposed the wasteful spending of millions of tax dollars by the National Institutes of Health on frivolous studies and research projects—including tax dollars to study the behaviors of “lot lizards,” – prostitutes who hang out at truck stops.
