Alan Chartock, director of WAMC, an Albany, NY, NPR radio station, says that they were told that their programming needed to "reflect the republican mandate given in the election of 2004." Well, Alan and the station are pushing back. They are the most wonderful NPR station. Alan Chertock is spearheading a fund drive to fight Tomlinson and the republican govt this week. He is a unapologetic critic of this administration and this station gives the total and complete story, even when unflattering to the administration.
