Fiery Dean deepens rift in his party
http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/front/11848295.htm

It's not a sign of robust political health when Democratic leaders feel compelled to denounce their own party chairman, and when the chairman's followers feel compelled to denounce the denouncers. But this kind of fratricide is becoming common during the tempestuous early days of the Howard Dean era.

At a time when President Bush is sagging in the polls, on issues including the economy, Iraq and stem cells, the Democrats seem incapable of taking full advantage because they're increasingly distracted by Dean's rhetorical adventures, and deeply divided over whether Dean is a savior or a symbol of the party's failure to craft an American majority.

2. Is there a possibility this is a plan?
A way to put the GOP off guard so they minimalize the importance of Chairman Dean?

Just a thought (and a hope perhaps.)

10. The Whore MSM leads with this....Our Dem Reps follow, and Repugs join
in the firing squad. It's our job here on the "Underground" to sort it out and defend or attack where it's needed.

Keeping quiet about this doesn't do anything. Because just like the Michael Jackson Trial or Missing Teens and Runaway Brides, we know the media will hatchet Dean like they did the last time.

Keeping quiet doesn't work when we aren't the ones who are "running the show."

4. Frig the leaders that are bailing out
If dems aren't onboard with the truth then can keep their heads in the sand. They are the same group that can't come out and call the President a liar and demand hearings for DSM and Iraq. Frig them.

5. THIS is why they need to STFU!!!
Goddamned Democrats have EVERY OPPORTUNITY handed to them on a silver platter to TAKE DOWN bu$h and what do they do?

CRITICIZE DEAN¿

:wtf:

"At a time when President Bush is sagging in the polls, on issues including the economy, Iraq and stem cells, the Democrats seem incapable of taking full advantage because they're increasingly distracted by Dean's rhetorical adventures, and deeply divided over whether Dean is a savior or a symbol of the party's failure to craft an American majority."

Democrats are WASTING precious time and 'political capital' worrying about what DEAN said. They need to get their priorities IN ORDER. And 'what Dean said' should be NOWHERE on the list!

We haven't got the votes to take down Boosh**.

The "deep division" is all media spin.

We incapable of taking advantage of this or any other issue
BECAUSE THE MEDIA REFUSES TO REPORT THEM!!

Sadly, we are still largely dependent on the media to get our message out,
but there is no longer even one major media outlet in the entire country
that will publish our point of view.

7. The rift between GOP Appeaser Dems, like Lieber-bush, and Dean-ocrats
and other progressives has been around for a while, but thanks to McCain-Feingold, the Dean-ocrats and other progressives will be the rising wing of the Dem Party because M-F lessons the monetary impact of Fat Cat corporate donors.

That "rift" is really the DLC wing going through withdrawal pains as their influence wanes and the progressive wing waxes.

8. I'm glad for the rift and disturbance..
He's getting heard. He's getting press. He's making the lame members of the party wake up and maybe take notice. Now just forget about his comments and come together and do something.

9. Oooooh. "Fiery". WIll he be a "radical militant" soon?
Actually, in the present situation, the fact that "Democratic leaders
feel compelled to denounce their own party chairman" IS a sign of
health, because it means grass-roots Democrats are getting involved
again as Mr. Dean plans, and that threatens the big-shot party hacks
control. Mr. Dean is a mortal enemy of party hacks like Biden and
Lieberman, and they do all that they can to bring him down, and us
with him.

12. Rift, pift.
what do these whores know?

Ever consider that maybe, just maybe, the reason that Preznit Bush is "sagging in the polls" is a direct result of us being mad as hell and not taking it any more?

13. We could all be dead tomorrow, or shot, under Bush
There's never been a better time for a pot-stirrer. Obama needs to start living in the real world and act like a Jr. Senator. He's not going to move up that fast, no matter how many people had liked his speech.

I am sick of Christians being on the front burner. Give this religion a rest.

and that's exactly what the DLCers are doing, let alone championing ONCE AGAIN the notion that the msm and the repigs get to frame the debate ...
