What are the chances that Blair will turn on * ?
I would say that his visit a couple days ago was not positively perceived...

A British reporter asked the president: "Do you believe that climate change is manmade and that you, personally, as the leader of the richest country in the world, have a responsibility to reverse that change?"

The United States is spending record amounts on clean-energy technology that the administration is prepared to share, but the president only touched on that lightly in a rambling reply that never did answer the question and bizarrely wound up on soybeans as a potential new fuel.

Bush said, "And I appreciate the prime minister bringing this issue up," which no one believed, and abruptly terminated the press conference without giving Blair an opportunity to reply.

The kind of support we've gotten from Blair deserves better than this.

Can Blair turn on Bush, with out taking himself down too?

5. I predict the DSM will take both of them down. The British are not
likely to let it slide like our media is doing.

6. None.
Not a chance, because it would mean that he would have to admit that he was wrong and his ego won't allow for that, plus if he did he would get mercilessly caned by the media in the U.K. (deservedly so) for being a spineless git.

7. Tony Blair's head is way too far up Bush's ass for him to turn...
...On the other hand, Bush could shit Tony Blair out in which case Blair would then be able to do whatever he wants, even though he stinks.
