I was so hopeful. I actually started to believe the country would be emerging from its 4-year nightmare right about now.

Yet, here we are. You know, even with a 2nd stolen election, how could tens of millions of Americans vote for that motherfucker?

Issues don't mean shit to these people because they cannot successfully pick their nose, much less grasp why giving rich people gobs of money doesn't do a damn thing for the middle class. They'll never understand why a president laughing and making a comedy routine out of his own administration's lies and fuckups that've already cost thousands upon thousands of innocent lives is a reason to vote against him. Their morning coffee and "Fox and Friends" with that loathsome pube-haired Brian Kilmeade means more to them than Bush's pathetic economic goal of breaking even in jobs (which his administration didn't even ACHIEVE in his first term). They don't care about environment, economy, infrastructure, quagmires, scandals or cronyism.

He's portrayed as an "aw schucks" folksy, luvable Christ'un schmuck . . . just like THEM.

They voted for daddy because daddy "makes them safe".

Never MIND the largest attack on American soil happened ON HIS WATCH (and, rightfully alleged, to his administration's knowledge) and one of the worst offensive quagmires in history is also shaping up ON HIS WATCH.

I remember going in to vote first thing in the morning. I went early, because I am a precinct committeeman. I had to go home to remind a few of my people to vote, and to make sure others who needed transportation got there.

I came out of the voting booth feeling so confident. I knew Kerry would win.

That was the last day I ever watched television news. I wonder at their values, as well as some of my countrymen. And I live in true-blue Illinois.

My fear is that some will, but most won't.

The potential of a stolen election is only one of the issues. As you say, even so, tens of millions of Americans did vote for this insanity and millions more (non-voters) casually supported that vote both by inaction and willful ignorance.

I felt the same way in 1988 as you felt this time last year. It simply did not occur to me that the nation would not lift itself up out of the nightmare that had been The Reagan Years. What moron would vote for this Bush person? I was riding even higher, in fact, as all the opinion polls showed my candidate, no matter who he might be, way out ahead of any potential Republican candidate. Americans were ready for a change, ready for something new after the long nightmare of Iran-Contra and broken promises. What I didn't realize at the time was that particular nightmare was just the warm-up show. The true horror was only beginning.

9. I knew we were going to win when Eminem's video came out...

Incredible power. I knew we won all through the day - that was why the realization that it had been stolen was like a ton of bricks. I fell into a depression, became obsessed 24/7 with pushing for the election to be contested, then collapsed for a few months. I have a hard time playing MoveOn.org's "Music for America" because it is just heartbreaking to be reminded of how I felt pre-stolen election. I was so hopeful for a quick end to the killing.

10. I have a few coworkers who voted for the "motherfucker"

I think they voted for Bush basically because he was the incumbent. Clearly not much thought was given to their vote beyond the fact that they got caught up in the media slime of Kerry and decided he wasn't a very good alternative to the Bush Crime Family. They're not right wingers but they're more interested in spending hours watching baseball games on TV rather than spending a few minutes a day educating themselves about the current state of the nation and world.

Bush won the ignorance vote big time.

That describes just about every guy at my job. Maybe I was not in line when the "male obsession with sports" thing was handed out. Online fantasy sports, movies, T and A - THAT they'll pay attention to and talk about all day. If I tried to talk politics it'd be like talking to the wall. They're all basically good guys they just don't give a damn about the ONE thing they should - well at least in my opinion but hey I'm just some crazy person who thinks we should care about the country.

Bush's approval ratings stand at 43%.Most of these people voted for Kerry,all one has to do is look at exit poll data especially in Ohio to see that Kerry won.

When Rove and his Nazi's came to the realization that Chimp was finished they made sure the election was rigged up in Ohio to put him over the top--hence CNN had to change THEIR OWN exit polling numbers for Ohio at 2:00am the next morning showing Bush winning by a few points over Kerry.

Rigged up elections used to be limited to third World countries,not anymore.
