Dem Silence = Republicans, the New "Party of Peace"
Over 50% (some polls are at 60% and greater) of the public disapproves of the Iraq War. 73% in the ABC poll say the casualties are unnaceptable..and the numbers continue to increase every day.

Look at these poll numbers. And this is only ABC; CBS, CNN, Time all report the same numbers. Seems like every day now, someone in the GOP is calling for withdrawal, or making a statement critical of the war. So where are the Dem voices? Sure, there are a few like Conyers, but other than that...there is either silence or worse, for example "pro-war" Hillary Clinton. Dem leaders should be calling for an end to this war. Instead, they are letting Republicans sound like the friggin anti-war party.
:banghead: :grr: :banghead:

ABC Poll (5/5-6/2):
"Do you approve or disapprove of the way Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?"
Approve 41
Disapprove 58
Unsure 1

All in all, considering the costs to the United States versus the benefits to the United States, do you think the war with Iraq was worth fighting, or not?"
Worth Fighting 41
Not Worth Fighting 58
Unsure 1

Again thinking about the goals versus the costs of the war, so far in your opinion has there been an acceptable or unacceptable number of U.S. military casualties in Iraq?"
Acceptable 25
Unacceptable 73
Unsure 2

Do you think the United States has gotten bogged down in Iraq, or do you think the United States is making good progress in Iraq?"
Bogged Down 65
Good Progress 33
Unsure 2
