A Talk with DNC Head Howard Dean

Listen to this story...

News & Notes with Ed Gordon, June 13, 2005 · Former Vermont governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean has been busy doing what he proved in the last presidential race he does best -- grassroots organizing. But Republicans have been chipping away at one of Democrats' most loyal voting blocs: African Americans. Dean discusses what Democrats are doing to stay relevant to their African-American base.

8. Do you have a "Cookie" blocker on, or "Except Cookies" turned Off?
You might need to upgrade to the Newest versions of the players too, that might help.

One problem also I've found is, NPR added some 10 second "Sponsorship Messages" before the RealPlayer links, and if you don't have the newest version of RealPlayer those hang RealPlayer. But if you click the forward button after it loads, it should skip forward and play.

Let me know if any of this helped.
