and all related materials, here's the relevance:

1.) The intelligence was being cooked in favor of showing that there was ample evidence that Iraq had WMDs, therefore, * lied to Congress regarding the strength of this intelligence. Congress based their vote on this information which was fraudulent. This is a HIGH CRIME and, therefore, an impeachable offense.

2.) * lied to the UN. Not sure of the legal ramifications of this, but it betrayed the trust of the U.S. to the rest of the world at the very least.

3.) The U.S. and Britain were conducting secret military bombing sorties over Iraq without consent from Congress or the UN. This is illegal, a high crime and an impeachable offense.

4.) Lack of sufficient post-war planning was at the very least incompetence by the * administration and at the most a war crime. This has resulted in the volatile situation currently in Iraq, the death of 1700+ US military, 100,000+ Iraqi civilians, an unwinnable situation (think Vietnam) and, more than likely, a country headed for civil war.
