---- to get an "ACTUAL" word-for-word transcription of it..
The General with Dumbsfield (Peter Pace) was getting irritated at the constant questions about their inability to meet recruitment quotas, and he slammed back with...
... "we're out there and we're trying to get as many African Am.. er.. ummm.. uh.. Were uh..."
---and then he ABRUPTLY changed his sentence realizing he almost made a grave error and had to immediately change his sentance 360 degrees. It all happens FAST.
If you have a way of listening to it.. The second he says "African", he realizes he almost said something he shouldn't have said and pulls back ASAP.
If anyone has a way to rewind it, you'd have to go back to where the press is nailing them about low recruitment numbers, and believe me.. you will hear General Peter Pace start to say something about trying to recruit as many African..... WHAT?!?!? What were you going to say General Pace?
He caught himself before he finished the sentance and with a "oh shit expression" started rambling something else immediately..
Everytime I've ever looked up transcripts later of anyone in this administration, they never leave in the "whoops" sections.
I'm wondering what he was going to say before he stopped mid-sentance and went in an opposite direction?
