Is a national health care program something that would get you to support a candidate?

8. Do you believe we would have to reduce the military...
to pay the bills?
Would you support some reduction in the military if that is what is necessary for all Americans to get health care?

6. Yes, indeed
The United States and South Africa are the only 2 nation in the world that do not have a national health care system.

A national health care system would stop job from being outsourced because the overhead cost of employees would go down.

The United States with all the PH.d's we have should be able to produce a better health care system than Canada.

7. It depends on WHAT national health care program
Hillarycare was awful; the DLC/Kerry plan left the problem--the insurance industry--in place, so I couldn't support that, either.

Until we eliminate the profit motive in health insurance we'll have a lousy system that concentrates on ways to deny care to sick people to maximize profit.

11. National Health Care is not far off
Major corporations want to get rid of their responsibilities and associated costs. When the corporations and lobbyists begin withholding contributions, the house and senate will take action.

13. Just thought I'd ask instead of assuming.
Some Democrats don't want a national health care program because they believe it would reduce their benefits.
