Does success breed flabbiness?

Some say the party ended up in shambles during the Clinton reign. Was that because we got complacent since we were in power?

Will the same happen to the Repubs with Bush in power? Will they get all fat and sassy, thinking they've found a permanent home?

The only thing that is a shambles is our ELECTORAL SYSTEM!
Our party was doing just fine in 2000. Gore Won! We got robbed!

They already have, but they have so much power now that it doesn't matter.
