14. Not Journey---The Doors
"I listened to Clark being interviewed recently on a statewide radio show and when asked what his favorite music was, he said "The Beatles, The Stones, The Doors." The Doors? Not exactly a focus group answer. (It's easy to imagine the right-wing attack dogs using this -'Clark supports anarchy, lewd debauchery and Oedipal fratricide.')"

11. Hmmm...

Wesley Clark - "The General," Dispatch.

Howard Dean - "Healing Hands," Marc Cohn.

John Edwards - "Pink Houses," John Mellencamp.

Joe Lieberman - "This Will Be My Year," Semisonic.

John Kerry - "The Future That Was," Josh Joplin Group.

Dennis Kucinich - "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding?," Elvis Costello.

Al Sharpton - "Bad Reputation," Freddy Johnston.

These are what I think best describe the candidate and their campaigns, not like their "official" songs. That "We Can" song Dean uses is fucking horrible.

Later.

13. I can't believe they don't use"We're not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister.

Either that or "Don't stop Believing" by Journey and "Born to Run" by Springsteen. Get it, because they're all running for office. It's funny, no? I'll be here all week...
