Forget the Media Denial...Weren't Conyer's Hearings the Best Thing Ever?
I listened to the Nixon hearings but OMG ...this stuff from a teeny room underneath the US Capitol were HISTORY MAKING...GROUND BREAKING.

I felt from those "underground hearings" that I WAS PART OF THE NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION!

Away from the "GLOBALIST/PNAC/Apoligists...and into NEW TERRITORY with Philosophical Thought.

I felt I was in the beginnings of the "AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT" the cusp of the "REFORMATION!"

I felt good that all my time here on Democratic Underground hadn't been wasted...very good indeed. :-)'s and :bounce: and CHEER'S...to all of us who've "fought the good fight and even through discouragement" have hung tough throughout it all.

3. Yes
and the drama of being held in that tiny room because other larger rooms were denied, added to it's impact.

4. YES!
It was wonderful to witness this. I am recording it for my husband and sons when it is repeated. History my friends. It is up to Conyer's and the rest of our representatives to keep this going and it is up to us to support them and to get the story out. We have power, we truly do. Our power may be more limited than I have ever seen but slowly we are getting it done. I have little faith left but today I felt more hope than I have since the first installation of this nincompoop and his cronies.

8. Yep. Being forced to have a parallel government that deals in
reality is a bitch, but hey, give it enough time and maybe people will start noticing that the parallel government is actually dealing with real issues instead of passing resolutions re-naming french fries.

9.  Parallel Govt...or whatever ...I felt today that I was among folks who
were with me... I loved that what they knew...I knew and that I understood every word they were saying.

I was glad to be a part of this...it made me feel that I'd somehow contributed some small part to US history. And, that I was trying to make up for the "blood" we've spilled being part of "US HISTORY" and trying to make amends.

It's easy for those of us Americans who've reaped the "spoils" of how we plundered the Native Americans for what we own today..and how we've been no better than the Romans, Ottoman's Turk's or the Brits in our quest for EMPIRE...but that there's a PUSH BACK is maybe a start to a new assessment of "EMPIRE" and the consequences of EMPIRE. And...most importantly a re-examination of the "Doctrine for Pre-Emptive Strike" that the Bush (BFEE) is trying to push forward with the help of ALL OF THE RIGHT WING THINK TANKS..who have Mega Harvard Yale and whaterver Intellectuals on THEIR SIDE.

We here, just have "POWER OF THE PEOPLE" of ALL WALKS OF LIFE to COUNTEr.

Let's hope that WE, THE PEOPLE still have a voice.
