Saddam shot to death in escape attempt ! Breaking news !
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 04:14 PM by EVDebs
At least that's what Bush Co. is hoping for. He should have been tried and/or taken out of the country long ago; as it is now, he is still a rallying point for the insurgents/Baathists/resistance.

2. No.. I think they want a long drawn out trial..
Because they're hoping it will boost Bush and his thugs in the polls.

And knowing the type of idiots that support him, it probably will have some sort of positive effect (poll wise)..

They'll be using it that trial BIG TIME.

9. I think a drawn out trial is what they DON'T want
Because I'm sure Saddam's attorneys will bring out the facts that it was the Reagan/Bush 41 administrations who gave him the weapons, held his hand and attempted to use him to tramp down REAL attempts at democracy, particularly in Saudi Arabia.

10. Trouble is Reagan, GHWBush, armed Saddam,
of course Saddam was a dictator/lunatic, but a trial allows for a defense. That doesn't sound real bright Republican strategery to me. Pretty darn dumbass as a matter of fact.

But it allows for the major points mentioned in the DSM hearing the other day to come out. That book Spider's Web: The Secret History of How the White House Illegally Armed Iraq, by Alan Friedman of the Financial Times, was even mentioned. Lots of goodies to get into there ! Especially abuse of federal agencies like Dept of Agriculture and the Export-Import Bank. The Georgia branch of Banco Nationale Lavoro even ended up with some poor shmuck going to prison (sacrificial lamb). I wonder if he's still doing time ?

6. They could have sent Saddam to The Hague
for prosecution as a war criminal.

But then the death penalty would not have been an option. In Iraq it is just a matter of time before he is tried and then shot.

8. Who is the 'deadest" man walking?
Bush or Sadaam?

Will Bush's Dictatorial regime die with the truth of the DSM?...or will Sadaam die before he can tell the truth of his relationship with BushI & BushII.
Thanks to REAL news reporters, not the fake rag news of msm, I hope to hear Sadaam's story someday. Would fill in some blanks as to the dealings of the Bush Family Mofia.

13. i dont think saddam is any rallying point
he wasnt very popular, the kurds and shia hated him and I dont think even the sunnis who are a minority supported him with a majority.

no its freedom they were promised and freedom they want. freedom from saddam and georgie.freedom to create their own government and set thier own rules. left to thier own i think iraq splinters into 3 along ethno-religious lines. The borders of modern iraq were poorly concieved when they were drawn up after WW1.

15. Neither do I. His trial will bring out uncomfortable facts for BushCo.

however, and this is why people should be paying attention, assuming he lives that long. I remember a certain Michele Sindona who 'knew too much' and was served coffee in his prison cell ... and then no more !
