Question about Teflon and Presidents
Okay, while putting my kids to bed and straightening up the house, I kept thinking about the possibility of impeachment being real.

I remember being very outraged at Reagan and the Iran-Contra scandal. That was some serious double-dealing sh*t. Ollie North went to jail. Reagan said he wasn't aware of what was going on and got off (with a Democratic Congress, I believe) with a minor slap on the wrist.

Could that happen with this? Iran-Contra was a scandal of massive proportions. Please give me your view on why this is different/why it will stick.

Personally, I think that the $300 billion and 1,700 dead make this more important, but I don't know. Dems don't seem to be willing to go for the jugular, politically.
