A memorable moment on 'This Week'
One of the guests on The Roundtable was Katrina Vanden Huevel (uncertain of spelling)- from 'The Nation' . I don't know if this was the first time she has appeared on 'This Week', but she did prove to be an effective foil for George Will. Initially, I got the impression she was hesitant and nervous, but as the discussion continued through a variety of subjects, her composure solidified and she became an actual voice of dissent to George Will.

When she interjected into one of his lugubrious monologues (I believe the topic at this point was global warming) with "That's just more of your denial rhetoric..." I was truly astonished....

I know nothing of the lady, but I was impressed with how she comported herself this morning.

1. Katrina is great!
SHE IS GREAT...One of the brightest women around and doesn't take any crap from the REPUGS....I would love to see a forum with her,Shiela Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Randi Rhodes, Jeaneane Garofolo.
Those women would tear up the room!

4. Yup
she's been on at least a few times before and she's great. She's consistantly well informed and very articulate. I saw her speak last summer and she was really impressive.

However this was the first time ever seen her interject with Will. That was great. Could you believe his utter snobbery and minimization of 50 mayors? Wish she had opportunity to respond to that.

5. Maybe next week they can pair him with Claire Short.
By the time she's finished with him he'll have a greater appreciation for the Feminist Mystique. How can anyone that stupid even look smart?
:nopity:
