Will Durbin be "gunshy" after this assault by the right-wingers ?
Will he be more careful with his comments about Quantanamo and torture, just when it is needed for someone to speak up? Have they succeeded in stopping the debate on this important subject? Will Durbin have to lay low until all the rightwingers stop shooting at him? The media has been very instrumental in helping the rightwingers with this attack upon the Democratic leader.

1. He is from Illinois
What do you think the pukes here will do to him? Before you answer that question, consider:

They hold only a single state-wide office.

3. He clarified his remarks and they are calling it an "apology"...
Somewhat of an apology. :) He regrets that his comments were misinterpreted or misunderstood.

5. These pukes are going to continue to smear and slam anyone who dares
to say anything against them until someone stands up and says "I don't care what you do to me, the truth is..."
These fucks are getting away with this dirty shit and anytime there is any discourse, they simply slam them with smear and threats.
And then the accuser gets all scared and backs off, they get the win again.

Wake up Democrats and tell them to shut up allow the system to work the way it was designed, not as they have diluted it.

6. You see, we can just view this as the GOP taking us to school
and showing us how it's done. Why the hell doesn't every Democratic member of Congress go after Cornyn for advocating the murder of judges? There's a lot of ammo out there, they just have to use it.

7. How about Cheney?

Was Vice President Cheney remorseful after he told Senator Leahy to go f*ck himself?

Part of the Republican agenda is to make sure that the "VERBAL RULES of ettiquette" only apply to Democrats.

Don't let the SPIN...drip...SPIN...drip continue. Call them on it. Howard Dean said one of the reasons the Republican spin is so successful is because they pick an idea, group of words, or phrases and repeat it ...4X A DAY...FOR 100 DAYS. If this is about showing lack of respect because of ones choice of words.....bring Cheney into the loop! (..4X a day for 100 days!)
