What about the military?

If there was a military vote...

Would the people in the military vote to stay indefinitely?

How about the National Guard?

Which brings up more questions. When will the National Guard be coming home? How many tours do they need to do? And, what will our military presence in Iraq be like without the National Guard?

The draft must be inevitable without a drastic change in the U.S.

Military Brass teach the soldiers to hate the enemy more than anything in the world. Based on all the Kool-aid, they will stay in Iraq until their commander tells them to come home.

These guys aren't trained to think critically. They are trained to do a job, even in their CIC is a lying, draft-dodging, rat. They see themselves as doing this for America, the American people.

They may grow to hate Bush and have no respect for him...or even the entire administration....but I think the military believes it transcends politics and politicans.

I remember they did this with Clinton and the gays in the military issue. However, they sat down with President Clinton and told him they wouldn't go along. I think they'll go to Bush and tell him that it's over.

However, I think the military brass has to have vast majorities of the public and foreign leaders on their side. But it's certainly driving in this direction at a pretty good pace, wouldn't you say?
