14. I wonder if I can name them all.
The whole of our black caucus, Boxer and Byrd and McDermitt and Kerry and Sanders and Kucinich and Durbin and,...geez, I really should have a handy list of all those who have inspired progress and inspired "Just Me" because I can't name them all off the top of my noggin. x(

15. Dennis Kucinich, of course.
Have you been to his website lately? It's incredible. He sent out alerts to get people to sign the Conyers petition. And he wanted our feedback on the Iraq issue so that he could use our responses to convince the Republicans.

17. There seems to be
a growing number of real progressives there and I am hard pressed to name a favorite. Well, actually it is and always has been Dennis Kucinich but there are more now to choose from and that is an awfully good feeling.

Ambercrombie is one I know too little about but I really enjoyed watching him with DK the other day on CSPAN.

20. Barbara Lee was one of the very few to vote against signing *'s blank
check to do whatever he wanted with respect to Iraq. She was cornered in a phonebooth in the Capital Building and the police had to secure her safety in order for her leave after her vote.

when she brought up the issue of the pre-war preparations (it was a real DUH! moment for me).

Conyers, Sanders and Feingold are my favorites.

30. Boxer and Patty Murray
Murray seems to be a bit underrated, but consistently votes the right way. Boxer is a bulldog and doesn't back down from anyone. I loved the way she took on Condi Rice.
