it's not about whether we care about it or not; I certainly don't -- it's about the media orgy that will occur that will completely obscure every other news story for an entire month.

3. actually, so much time has gone by and the war has gone so badly

that I think the "value" of this particular card has depreciated greatly. I expect they will try to play it, and it will provide a bump, but it's not going to be a lasting solution and I'm not sure the bump will even be that big.
