In just a few minutes, I will announce that Senator John Edwards will join me as my running-mate on the Democratic ticket as a candidate for vice president of the United States. 4. I woke up that morning, and the first thing I did...

was click on CNN's page. That's when I captured the photo I put in my post. That's the exact moment when I found out that Kerry picked Edwards and I got an adrenaline rush I can't even describe.

I want that hope back again, too. I think we all do.

I had so much hope with Kerry and Edwards. From the day Kerry picked Edwards, I knew in my heart of hearts that we would win. They gave me hope, a belief that all these liars and cheaters from the right-wing would lose their job, a belief that a better America was ahead, a future I could be proud of.


They gave me that hope. And when we lost....emptiness. a bitter, sad, angry, emptiness.


When Dean was elected DNC chair, that hope started to creep back into my veins and my heart.


With the DSM, that hope is steadily increasing. I'm excited and motivated and ready to fight back again.

Even if the DSM adds up to nothing, BU$H and co. are still on the ropes.

I feel a knockout punch coming.
